the vast majority of people grind out the super credits from gameplay, so there’s already a pretty significant time-sink. Maybe the more powerful a weapon is, the more it costs, since medals can only be earned through gameplay; it’s gotta make sense both logically and lore-wise though, like a highly-experimental rifle firing explosive bullets that can blow the limbs off elite enemies. I think it’s fine as-is though, don’t fix what ain’t broke.
