There's an easy fix for this if they dont wanna change the mechanic. They should just add a ring that negates sun damage but decreases the bonuses you get. Also everyone's talking about "its part of the lore" but fail to remember you fight a vampire in the arena in direct sunlight and that said person takes zero sun damage so they already have a lore breaking vampire in the game.

I don't play D4 for challenging content I play it to turn my brain off and escape while enjoying fighting hordes of enemies so season 8 will be a hard pass. Also the fact that the devs said, "we only want 10% of players to reach torment 4" but lock content like pets and mounts etc behind that said difficulty put a bad taste in my mouth so I may not ever come back to it. Not such a smart business model to lock 90% of the player base out of being able to recieve said rewards when they're paying to keep the servers up via cosmetics and battle pass and will probably lead to server shutdown if they don't course correct that line of thinking.
