I actually haven't found any of these quests yet. I started using the other pirate ship as a "found" home so it didn't occur to me to sleep at the boat inn. I'm excited to start these quests soon!
As long as the loading screens continue to provide useful game tips or interesting facts, I don't see it as a huge issue. I think a player's problem with it would be more of a generational thing. Younger players aren't as used to seeing loading screens as much as older players are.
