Weird list. Games for players that like BG3, but then most of the games aren't like BG3 at all. Dragon Age Origins over Inquisition all day. Also would have liked to see KOTOR and Neverwinter Nights 2 on the list. They embody the real turn based play of BD3.

Non binary is fine as long as it is an option, like I BG3. I didn't like it in Vielgard because it felt forced. The "woke" aspect of the game was a minor issue to me though. Performance was poor, characters bland, pathfinding annoying, story not engrossing were a few of the problems

What a travesty. Vielgard is horrible on so many levels: graphics, character creation, story and gameplay. By far the worst of any DA game, even the much maligned DA2. I have started the game several times and always quit after a few hours.

I prefer Bards (Sword) and of course Paladins because they are great in combat but also have high charisma, which is great for persuasion and deception. I usually multi class though except for fighter, cleric and wizard.

Easy to become overpowered in KOTOR. There are a few tricks, but with the right class, a few key force powers and key pieces of equipment you can power through the Star Forge and the final battle like a hot knife through butter.

Yes, light domain cleric, with 2 huge AOE spells is utterly the best for battles with lots of weaker enemies. In particular for the battle to protect the portal Halsin goes through an the battle against Viconia.

Yes, gotta include Skyrim. Maybe the Neverwinter Nights games since they have so much custom content. I personally would include KOTOR. Maybe not as much content as some, but in my top 5 all time.

One of the hardest for me is defending the portal Halsin opens to find Thaniel. Not really powerful enemies, but there are so many it is very difficult to destroy them before they destroy the portal.
