IMO it would have to be dark souls 1 or in my case elden ring. Dark souls 1; Is the easiest of the souls games in my opine. The difficulty does ramp up the further you get in the game. But overall I think in my experience it was the easiest. The dlc is a little bit harder than the base game though.

Elden Ring; I put this game on the list simply because it is the one I started with. I grew up playing ps1 and ps2. I owned multiple ps3 but stopped playing a few months after it came out. Then I didn't play again until I bought a new ps5 a month after they came out and then a second one a month after that. Then I found elden ring. It was tough at first but got easy once I got the game down. Most people probably wouldn't find E.R. To be beginner friendly. The only reason I put this on here is bc it was my beginner to the souls world. I have since platinumed elden ring, all dark souls, demon souls, bloodborne, close to platinum multiple others such as sekiro and both niohs. I have over 1300 hours in elden ring also. I love that game!
