I am a Fan of both, digimon to me felt more like a Story it had a begginong and end. Pokemon it's a series base anime that was repetitive for many years. One thing we can notice is that Digimon don't have as many monsters as pokemon and still feel like they are a lot. But I think their digivoluntion method contribute to it. I have been playing Time stranger and I honestly love the game and love the Anime graphics. It's feels like I am controlling my own cartoon. The one thing I enjoy most is that characters have voice, one thing pokemon have lack for years and by now this should have been implemented. I am looking forward to play Legends Z-A, I loved Legends Arceus it was an amazing entry. So from my point of view both games are amazing in their own way. But I think the fan base of pokemon it's adult and kids while digimon are more adults of the generation when digimon was a big thing which is why numbers on sales are lower than pokemon as well. Still I am loving playing Time stranger.
I don't understand why people are acting so stupid about not having regional forms. The regional won't make any sense this is a same region we already visited in X and Y so new forms just because the game says legends would make no sense but Megas do all you need is items to mega evolve, items that could easily be explain as we're not found in the past till now. If this would had been a total different region in the past then regional forms would had make more sense. So I think leaving regional aside was a smart and realistic choice for this title.
