There's a growing community of people who are tired of old video games being "remastered" and especially since the video game industry is taking a page from Hollywood where it's redesigned for the extremely small "modern (woke) audience." DR: Remastered is under intense scrutiny for unnecessary censorship to mechanics and features that made the franchise what it is.

I was a huge fan of the originals and the first game was among my very first 100% achievement completion on the Xbox. But I didn't purchase this version because of the aforementioned issue. Changing the Asian villain to a white man? I mean, really? Because POC can't be in antagonistic positions and be crazed psychopaths? No more erotica camera shots? No more cleavage with dresses?

No thanks. The sales on Steam alone aren't great and that data is more important than people realize.

A remastering of DR2 is just going to be even more destroyed beyond recognition. The games deserve to fail and Capcom deserves to go down the path that Ubisoft currently is.
