Maybe just maybe the Bethesda birthday message is the official announcement of Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion Remake and the tease for the upcoming game. Bethesda may be playing the silent game and not wanting to announce anything too early like they did with Elder Scrolls 6, so the birthday message is their announcement. If you look at the sweet roll and lit candle and compare it to the Province of Cyrodiil map, focusing on the White Gold Tower area of the map, I think it lines up with the sweet roll and lit candle birthday message, but that's just me and what I see.
