AJ in this case, it didn't move the needle much. It can, though. I've seen smaller games get buried in bot spam. I've seen vtubers go into hiding. Girls Frontline got banned in China over something dumb that I didn't really understand, and it's a Chinese game. They had to move, and they were lucky to have the resources to.

Because of this specific scenario, I have a hard time caring about what any Chinese people say about video games. If I were making a platform, I would just ban China and save myself the headache. Individually, I'm sure they are fine, but even 0.1% of a billion is enough to cause a headache not worth dealing with. Gacha games and vtubers seem to be a common victim of the Chinese hyper-nationalist zealots. I've also seen some in random news articles like this one. Good luck out there
