He's already been added to the story, as has his main nemesis (Dracula), during season 1. Whenever he gets added to the roster, it won't get ant darker than what we saw in that season.

They should have no problems keeping up the pace. OW make very unique heroes, which is why they take so long to complete.

Rivals, by contrast, uses lots of overlapping abilities that are just "flavored" differently for each character by giving them relevant and unique names. Pick any DPS and you can directly compare them to 2, 3, or even 4 others, for example, with maybe 1 unique ability to each. Every Vanguard feels the same except for Peni (and Cap a little bit). Healers feel the same except for Jeff (and Rocket a little bit).

This seems fine for Rivals as players are latching onto playing the characters more so than their powers. Basically, asong as their kit feels like the character from the comics the players are happy.

That's not a problem. Many heroes play the same as each other, so while it's more choices it's it's no more new power sets to worry about than OW2.
