I personally think you're right, and there is a good point being made.

The person in your comments saying "none of the things you like are what define good anime" and then insinuating about your head being in it's own little box along with your interests... While completely ignoring that Frieren is another anime to have rave reviews by fans and critics alike... Well, they don't seem very nice

I think we need to learn to keep to ourselves again with these things. Homosexual relationships between men are being fetishized in the exact same way that lesbian relationships have been fetishized in the past (and the now, for that matter) but the worst part is that the fans of these relationships are romanticizing the WORST emotional aspects - shockingly almost every single time.

Please know that this isn't normal to all of us. The concept of sex in general makes a lot of people uncomfortable - whether it's two women, two men, or a man and a woman, etc.

I'm an ace woman myself and also sexually repulsed. Nothing has happened to me that one would normally assume, It's just extremely exhausting to present as ace seeing that I just can't seem to escape the idea of sex anywhere I look - especially as a woman. The world has affected me quite a bit tbh... And the people that whine & cry about something like this in such an already WONDERFUL work of art and entertainment... Well, like I said, the world has affected me. I digress.

The relationship between Jayce and Viktor had no chance of ever becoming romantic because if so, then their canon mlm story was rooted in guilt, resentment, misunderstanding, and rage... And then they disintegrated out of existence 😐 it's great that they ended on a good note, but learn from this - and stop projecting your entitlement. There are plenty of mlm ships you could ship elsewhere that involve an actually POSSIBLE romance arc.

I need to remind you right now that love exists without sex & romance. I understand that these things are all closely related in our society, but people need to realize that LOVE IS ACTUALLY JUST LOVE - and it's valid, as simple as simple gets. Love itself is justice enough just the way it is, no strings attached.
