I truly LOVE nuke zones. My Perk card punch had a slot called 'Nuke Zone' all ready for when I hear the alarm.ni suit up and head for a spot just out of the zone. Nuking the forest is great since there is so much flora there.

I loved the Nuking of Fasnacht. Got lots of nuked flora and materials because of the event. Once I hid in the church to see if I could survive, died and got a Ground Zero award. The second time I watched the bomb drop from Arktos. Good fun.

I was there a couple of times when this happened. On one occasion I left the area to watch the detonation from Arktos. The second time I hid in the church only to die at ground zero. No big deal and all part of what is just a game and a big learning curve. I worked hard to get the materials and perks to live in the nuclear blast zone to pick nuked flora and gather objects to create stable flux. The event helps in that there are a lot of targets that drop these mats. All part of a complex game.

I have 2 that I move around from time to time. But, a special one always sits just east of Cranberry Bog up in the hills along the cascading river. Great to watch the nuke detonations and get ready to plunder for the Queen and flux. I call it the Nuclear Lookout.
