I recommend relying heavily on sciel as a support/healer/tank for your party. She can survive a lot and if you get some of the healing and support pictos going, she can put out a ton of healing.

Aaron Paul is a fine choice for Eddie but I don’t think there’s any weight to the “missed opportunity” argument. There are bound to be a ton of actors who can play this role well. I also don’t agree that ensemble cast is “the way to go,” I think this series would be great with some new no-namers and maybe just a star to play Roland to make sure that people actually watch.

This is maybe the only good argument I’ve ever heard for “don’t swap the character’s race,” but honestly I think that Susannah’s character could use an update anyway. In many ways she is a dated stereotype, and while that may in part be intentional, I don’t believe her character would transfer well to screen if written too faithfully to the source material.
