See AllJune 17 is Going to Be a Big Day for Minecraft Fans
This will be fun! The world i just started has a mountain hollowed out with an enormous cave, and has several holes to enter the cave from the top. I think it'll be a perfect happy ghast base, where I can stable them in the large cave and then just float them up and out through the holes.
I hope! Haven't really seen all the mechanics of the ghasts yet.

And as Yahtzee of zero punctuation put it, Aloy's melee techniques involved "forcibly ejecting her spine".
I would love to see better melee combat, and see guerilla dedicate some time to considering how melee combat might have evolved in their world. Get some inspiration from Maori short spear arts, for example?

If we go by who nemesis is in mythology, judgment and retribution, I would say Aloy's job is to convince nemesis that earth is worth saving (since nemesis only has the sins of the old ones to go off of currently).
There's actually something vaguely like that in 3001 (the third sequel to 2001). Spoilers, when the black monolith was "screeching" on the moon, it was actually transmitting all the data it had collected on humanity to a computer in Alpha Centuri, to make a judgment call on whether humanity should survive. Just like in Horizon, the citizens of 3001 knew the signal would take 500 years to reach AC, and 500 years for the decision to come back. Given the wars and self destructive behavior of humanity in the 20th century, the 3001 citizens realized the might need to be proactive about protecting themselves from the monoliths

My friend said the same, but I actually quite enjoyed it. The Zeniths gave me "beneath the planet of the apes" vibes. Also, billionaires in space is definitely not so far-fetched and idea, since our billionaires are already doing it. Kinda wish they'd stay there.
How Horizon 3's Approach to the Tribes Could Differ Greatly From Zero Dawn, Forbidden West
I think the quen idea is spot on. Ceo was definitely just a taste. The quen's rigid class structure and "divinity" of those at the top remind me a lot of historical Japan. I can't imagine Aloy tolerating that very much.
As for nemesis, I suspect we'll see the trope of educating the AI about the good side of humanity. All nemesis knows is the twisted view of the world that the far zeniths had. Also, nemesis in mythology was a god of judgment and retribution.
What Happened To Netflix's Horizon Zero Dawn Series?
Not sure why I can't reply directly to Everything's.
I look forward to game adaptations (admittedly with some trepidation that they'll suck). Games IMO have incredibly compelling stories that I want to share, but the people I want to share them with aren't gamers. But I do fear the track record of long format TV... We really need to see turnover in writers rooms. I'd rather they get horizon right or not at all.
But here's hoping we get something. The past in horizon is disturbingly relevant to today.
Aloy is silent? Since when? Playing through I keep wanting her to shut up and let me figure things out on my own! 😂
