Chris, Chaos Theory/Pandora Tomorrow’s multiplayer was similar to blacklist in it being spies vs mercs, but BL was easier and faster paced compared to CT/PT. CT/PT was slower, playing hide and seek in the shadows, spies had to sneak into buildings undetected trying to hack terminals while mercs had to set up traps and guard buildings roaming around from site to site. In CT/PT the spies didn’t have lethal weapons, only having a stun pistol, smoke, flash, chaffe grenades, noise makers and knock out gas. To get a kill a Merc, spies had to hide and sneak up behind a Merc and grab them, then snap their neck. Mercs was fps like in BL and also similar to Seige gameplay. CT/PT was the most unique multiplayer pvp experience ever and nothing has come close to since BL.
I would honestly be happy if Ubi just remastered the multiplayer version of CT/PT and would happily pay full price to play it online nowadays.
