Nobody understands what "woke" is because it's been watered down to "anything I don't like that's vaguely left-leaning" about a piece of media. For you, "woke" could mean that media includes LGBT characters. For someone else, it just means media has an LGBT/female/non-white protagonist even when those facts never come up in discussion by the characters themselves. For most people, woke just means "a YouTuber said the word, so now I'm going to regurgitate everything that they said without an original thought because I'm too lazy to engage with the piece of media being discussed".

The original Mass Effect trilogy was too woke too by these standards, since it checked "all the PC boxes" as well, but it gets a pass for some reason while this game doesn't.

How did FFXVI have "woke focus"? The main characters weren't gay, Clive was a male main character (Also white), there weren't mentions of transgender people.

Also, how did it not have "actual gameplay"?
