Za What's your point and how does it address what the op said? If they wanted to report on the Newtype awards they could have without making it about Solo Leveling.

It's not a surprise or unexpected that an anime based on a Korean web novel and manhwa isn't #1 in a Japanese award. If anything the real story is it managed 4th despite an anti-Korea sentiment so deep they made a special version replacing Korean names and places with Japanese versions.

So it literally hasn't dethroned it. Nobody cares about ratings or opening week placement. The reason Demon Slayer Infinity Castle is making headlines is the box office income. It's a strong indicator of anime firmly breaking into the mainstream. Maybe Chainsawman will make more money in the end but it hasn't yet.

4 seasons a year with each lasting ~3 months just like since day 1 and same as all their other games with seasons. Season 8 was short due to delaying the start.

You certainly don't have to play each season if it bothers you that they're not 'new' enough. There's nothing wrong with playing every other season or once a year when an expansion is released like most other games. Not every game needs to a live service game for every person even if it's an option.

Although it's not like a season is a huge investment if you like the game. I just choose a class I haven't played in a while and spend a couple weeks taking it to pit 100 and grabbing the free battle pass rewards. Maybe 20 to 30 hours playing casually. I'm not grinding for uber uniques every season.

It's almost like Diablo was always intended to be a single player game with some optional friend only focused light multiplayer instead of a live service MMO wannabe abomination. I'm sure it sells more $30 cosmetics this way.

Completely meaningless. This will accomplish nothing, especially in the manga space. There are widely available tools that aggregate the aggregation sites. Even the sites that are "shutdown" just move to new domains. The handful of scanlation groups that actually quit have their members absorbed by other groups.

The manga piracy scene is far better run and more available than the legal channels. Many of the IPs that get official English releases are only because it was already popular in the scanlation scene. Look at Solo Leveling. It was massively popular world wide before it got officially translated thanks to fan translations. Things only available in Japanese or Korean don't become international hits and they often don't get translations unless they're already globally popular.
