Omg it's like you plucked everything I was going to say right out of my head and wrote it for me. Wonder picks to me are just an extra chance at getting some of the reg exs to finish the deck but if I don't get it it's w.e. And what I really agree on is how impossible they make it to get anything better then a 1 star. I have collected over 5000 cards and have gotten almost every interactive and a GC before getting more then a handful of 2stars. It's crazy!!

I get what ur both saying here on the one hand sure it would make alot more sense to just start out placing players against people of similar in game levels. But at the same time he's right the ranked will eventually work it's self out. In my opinion this is just one of the things you have to deal with when ranked gets started up so late in a game.
