The Lands Between suck, honestly. It's a better open world than 90% of other Open World games, but the highlight of ER was always the legacy dungeons. Unless they can solve how boring it is to clear the fifth identical mini-dungeon for loot I'm not gonna use, fix the rewards for field enemies, and fix the loot system in general, I don't want another FS OW.

Anyway, I really don't think the approach is good in the first place. These games benefit a lot more from tight level design than ER ever did from its world.

SotE fixed most of the issues, but it did so by making the "open world" smaller, denser, and more vertical and linear. I could see another game using a small map, but a game with a large map like the Lands Between isn't something I want to play in again.

The Palworld and Genkin cases are very different. This is a Trademark suit, and Nintendo may have a case... MAYBE. The Palworld case is doomed and unethical, but this one may hold water. Nintendo has a legitimate case, but I do think it possible they picked the wrong route?

I'll be getting one... Eventually. I'm a die-hard for Nintendo products(I've had every console they've made excluding the SNES and the WiiU), but times are tight and it's an expensive piece of hardware.

Jokes aside, IF any strawhats get together with anybody(including each other) it will be in the epilogue. This is High Adventure, and even if some characters may get romantic arcs, the focus will always come back to the quest for the One Piece and everything that entails.

Not just that, but can you imagine Game Freak trying to optimize for TWO consoles at the same time? Even at their best they struggle to make games run at a stable 30fps, and ScVi reached 25 on a good day. If they had to release on a second console I fear ZA would make ScVi look like a highly polished gem.
