Solo leveling cannot replace dragon ball. While I don’t love db and feel that it’s mid. It’s still better than sl will ever be and most of that is due to the nostalgia for most of the people watching it. I also should say that most die hard sl are not worth engaging with as they are most likely to make a huge deal about it. The fact is that compared to dragon ball solo leveling just isn’t as good.

halfblood595 while I will agree that DB is a far better made and known anime than SL. I have to disagree with you saying that every villain had a build up. And also I don’t believe you have read the SL manwha so you cannot say that that it has ever DB villain is better the very SL villain. Not only that but while they are both Shonen they are different types of Shonen. I don’t particularly like DB as it’s stupidly long and has way too many shows with it but I won’t deny that it is still decent. I will also agree that for the most part it is better than SL. Plus I’m pretty sure that Simon here has never bothered to watch a single episode of db. But yeah overall I think your exaggerating how power full doe of the villain in db are and at the same time not giving SL a chance to be somewhat decent. But both are still good. Just don’t be too hard on those that are die hard SL fans. Most of them don’t know what they are talking about a most of them won’t listen to a word you say about any other anime being better. My personal favorite anime right now is 86. In fact sl isn’t in my top 10. So yeah.

I don’t think SL was the king of anime on Crunchyroll. Sure it was popular but just because it made a huge break at the beginning doesn’t mean that it’s the best. Mha in my opinion kinda sucks. I can’t follow the plot, there are so many unnecessary characters, the development of the characters takes way to long to flesh out, and the story is way to damn repetitive meaning that once you’ve seen how one Battle goes, you’ve basically seen how they all go. Not to mention that MHA feels heard towards a younger naïve audience. I also wouldn’t say that there is a “king” of anime. Every anime is different and those that are somewhat the same are also still different.

I agree. Also one other thing I might as well add is that the character development takes way to long and by the time we see it. There’s not really anything to see at that point

Sure most of these are better but I do also disagree with some of these as well. As while he certainly isn’t the best mc he is pretty decent. I personally think SL is pretty good. But there are a lot of anime that are way better.

David if you want to be logical then I’ll outright say it. There is no king to Manwha and there is no one face to it. There are multiple and SL just happens to be in one of those positions right now. It will change eventually

SL is not the king of Manwha. Sure it is a very good Manwha. But it’s not the king. It could be better. And yes I have read all of SL. Not including Ragnorok as it isnt officially part of the story. It also just doesn’t interest me.

im going to be completely honest with you. If you have seen the infinity castle movie you wouldn’t be saying that. The animation for DS is actually really well done. It’s no DB but it’s still good in its own right. Will it ever be as popular as DB. No. But it’s still good and it opens to a very wide variety of ages. I don’t love it as much as I did. But I still think it’s a decent anime.

Man. If you’re gonna tell us old news then that’s fine or whatever but in that case just read the damn manga. Which in my opinion is just a hit better than the anime although I do still think JJK kinda sucks. Just a bit. I like it but the ending is stupid.

It pulls people in and makes a pretty good story. But yes op does have a lot of plot armor. If you don’t like that then watch something like chainsaw man where all the main characters friends basically all get murdered.

I agree. As someone who has watched all these shows and read almost all the manga/manhwa for then I can say that solo leveling isn’t as good as one piece and doesn’t deserve to be on this list. The others I understand. But SL is just………. It’s good but not this good. The only reason I like it is because of Alex Lee and that’s just about it.

Esteban it’s really not. I’m betting that you have never seen Frieren and that you’re basing this off of literally nothing. Frieren may seem bland at first but the story is much deeper and objectively better then the story of JJK.
