With an IP like Dune, upholding the source is paramount.... And the 84 version is lightyears ahead of the new movies.

By a visual standpoint... Sure it's not perfect even taking into the year it was released. But I'll rewatch it and the mini series over the new saga because content is the most important and too much was changed for the new versions
