the remake confused a lot of heads since josh was either way dying before the remake but then they added an ending that josh actually might have been saved from the whole isolation plus they showed us a brand new outro with sam so yeah I do think that they either want us to feel a bit better about josh and leave us obscure or they wanna do a sequel...but the whole studio, firesprite, and sony situation is so confusing and complicated that I do not think we can get to any point to be sure that there is a sequel to the game based off of the remake endings...but I am sure that a lot of until dawn fans would be so down for a sequel so bad even it has been 10 years now in 2025
