See AllMonopoly GO Player That Spent Over $1,000 on the Game Deletes the App
I started playing in July of this year & have spent thousands since then playing MonopolyGo.
It's true that the game can be addictive but it's also a lot of fun. There are some players such as myself who have health problems, can't go out like other folks, we're stuck at home or other places with little to do & just want to have some type of fun.
I can't fault Scoply for running the game the way they do trying to make money. After all they are a business & the goal of any business is to make money.
Besides they have taken a wildly popular game & have breathed new life in it. I've talked to a number of friends who enjoy the collectables, the cards, emotes, shields & so on.
It doesn't mean everything in tge game is great. Scoply could definitely offer larger rewards to players in several areas like community chest, daily free rolls, etc.
Scoply should add warnings though that MonopolyGo can be addictive. At tge same time those who choose to play the game whether free or pay to play take responsibility for their decisions & choices they make.
Players also need to be aware that no where does it say that you are guaranteed to finish a card album. Though Scoply does offer some different ways to do it.
These are just my thoughts on MonopolyGo. Both the benefits & the negatives.
