As fun as Reach is, for me Combat Evolved should be number one. The mystery, the environments, the characters, the music… all of it comes together to compose such an iconic masterpiece of art that has aged surprisingly well for a game over 20 years old. Also, small nitpick, it’s “plasma” weaponry “ not “laser” weaponry.
