I completely disagree. This PoE1 event is a massive apology to the fanbase of PoE1 due the delay on the next league. Making it a league in PoE2 not only cheapens that apology, but would be seen (and taken) as a massive middle finger.
Moreover, PoE2 already has a mountain of things to test and work through, we don't need temporary or experimental features to mix into all that right now.
This has absolutely nothing to do with changing ascendancies and everything to do with how one particular ascendancy performs. There's no flaw in the system either, the system works completely fine.
You just need to look up what that ascendancy does on the wiki and see if that's the type of playstyle you like just like everyone else does.
I disagree. It's all down to how you build your character.
If you are running around with two mana rings, no life/energy shield on your gear and a belt not tailored to your life flasks then yes you will struggle, but if you do all of the above then you'll be absolutely fine.
It's not just one type of build that can be expanded on, the game still has many different ways to grow.
We have yet to get 6 different classes and weapons types, with 19 skills coming per weapon. Not to mention the countless uniques that are coming along with them.
Totems aren't fully expanded yet either, with traps/brands also coming in the near future. So there is still a lot of breathing room for ALL builds, not just poison.
