Terrible idea. Reminds me of early Dead Rising games, which were much smaller and more manageable with a time limit, but still limiting how much you could explore. A FC game like that will be extremely frustrating. Exploration and side missions are what make FC. Oh, and Hurk. Bring back Hurk.

My first console was pong. First multi game console was Atari 2600. That said, physical copies are dead. Release day updates means your disc is often outdated before you even open the box. Ownership is a concern, and owners should be able to back up copies of games a la GOG, but a physical disc now is just an anachronism.
