Like a lot of fans I think Franky and Robin make a good pairing and that they make sense, but overall I don't really care about the romance too much. I do like certain ships and some way more than others but for me it's the adventure. Like it was mentioned in the article Oda said they're all in love with the adventure. I love this. Since I've started watching and reading One Piece I've loved it. I'm not even caught up yet. The story alone is just so great already and I personally don't think their really needs to be romance between anyone on the crew. Would it be cool and awesome to see Franky and Robin be confirmed? Yes, but I just don't think it's needed. I still love them as a ship and don't really mind if they're not canon.
