Listen, if anyone wants to think of them as platonic or romantic, that's okay. It's up to the viewer. It's just upsetting as someone on the asexual spectrum that this guy made the disabled person asexual, is vehemently denying any kind of relationship between the characters, AND gloats that the scene between Vi and Cait was originally longer and that he has the copy on his personal PC. The voice actors and writers and animators believe there was something going on between them that wasn't exclusively brotherly. It feels like this guy just fetishizes lesbian relationships and denies gay ones, and making the disabled person asexual is the oldest cop out from having to present them in a relationship because it makes some people uncomfortable. Regardless of whether they were romantic or not, they were soulmates who clearly adored one another and they'd rather die together than have one live without the other.
