RocksDMadara Boruto is actually my favorite of the new generation, so rather than come up with lame ways to make yourself laugh read the whole comment rather than cherry pick from what I said, I can tell you what I do like about Boruto but why bother? Really? You seem to have made your mind up about me.

Boruto is his own person carving his own path. Are there a few similarities to others? Sure. He is not the next this or successor to whoever. Saying that kind of stuff just short changes Boruto's journey and the decisions he makes moving forward for more than a few reasons.

I don't get how he is Minato's successor when his shnobi path is entirely different. So because he uses a space/time technique that is similar to that of his grandfather and has in his arsenal a variation of the Rasengan, that makes him the Minato successor?

Ability -wise having little in common in the form of 3 techniques makes him as you say? This article and the last Itachi article and those before show you guys just do not get the story on a strictly narrative perspective.

Boruto in the first manga showed he wanted to follow a different shinobi path and not of his father or grandfather, but go his own way. Now he is living it and the sacrifice that comes along with it too.

Minato was a golden child in every sense of the word, he was unrivaled in his era also. Which is precisely why he had to die when he did as he served a specific narrative function with the only character similar to this function being Itachi albeit with some differences.

Then we have Boruto who is a complete Otsutsuki with techniques from various potential futures of himself and being trained by one of the 2 most skilled and powerful shinobi of all time? And then go on to be given aid by someone who can see various futures.

Boruto had advantages working for him stacked on top of his genius however that does not mean he didn't work for them as in my opinion he is the only person who could do what he did in just 3 years, Naruto too was similar in that he was the only person that could train with his shadow clone technique the way he did.

Boruto is his own person. Are there similarities he has with others? Of course, but the thing is they are just that, similarities no more. His decisions, motivations and chosen path will lead him to very different places in accordance to his circumstances.

Boruto did not master 3 forms of chakra nature's, that information is clearly noted earlier in the manga. Also to say he "learned" the Uzuhiko is a stretch along with his "version" of the flying thunder god. The kid had a partner who could look into the future of his, all its variations unless of course Kashin hasn't told him everything who knows? With Kashin Koji granting him all the info he would need. Kashin himself pointed out it was not The Flying Thunder technique, though there are similarities. However if he does get his hands on whatever information or some scroll of how to actually perform the technique on top of his understanding of space/time function? Then the question becomes what will his version will look like 🤔

Itachi mastered everything he knew without ever reaching his prime, while Boruto may very well do so... Beyond that every character has their own way of learning. Aside from that Minato was the same way in that he too never reached his prime yet despite that these two were likely the most powerful shinobi of their respective timelines. Itachis greatest strength was his wisdom not his powers.

Also Sasuke served his time post war in this same way itachi had done, from the shadows. Itachii managed all what he did in his last years still alive while knocking on deaths door. And to top it off he didnt have the tremedous advantage of Kashin granting him knowledge of variuos roads his life could take with how he would develop.

Why not try comparing their growth instead? Then the answer will become apparent.

This doesn't make any sense Naruto is no longer just a warrior but a leader and has been that since he took the Hokage mantle upon his shoulders which is why he got so rusty in the first place.

Yes he could get greater strength after release from the Diakokuten but it would not matter as the threats have reached levels he would not be able to keep up with anyway. By the time he does get out possibly all the most important characters whose powers are spotlighted will quite likely have surpassed him.

At this point in his life he is a leader not just a warrior, more than anything though in Naruto's case in particular he is beyond that as well.

He is a symbol, the herald of this new era and all that comes with that position in the shinobi world.

His days of just being a warrior are long gone, and that chapter of his life isn't coming back.

What is the most important about him now? Is what he does with his status as a symbol, his ability to lead, to guide.

This is always an interesting sentiment I find. Whether he had this or that going for him? He had no idea who he was, what he had within him, what he was truly capable of, or a single clue the significance of epic proportions his role in the shinobi world would play out to be at different lengths of time each.

This particular remark (which is everywhere by the way) is always missing a pitifully simplistic fact.

That fact is while we as the VIEWERS saw some things and anticipated others? IN WORLD Naruto knew absolutely nothing... All he knew was he was going to forge ahead with a fierce determination and his shinobi way.

The only sign, the very smallest sign mind you, was naruto sensing a chakra other than his and kurama's within which was Asura's chakra regardless he simply noticed no more and whenever he did? It was off screened...

Did Kishimoto fumble some things? Sure. Did he include some things last minute? Yeah there's no denying that. Did Kishimoto have these very story beats that played out how we saw them planned to a t from the jump? No he did not, hence the retconning throughout the story.

Naruto is hardworking and the undisputed proof of that was how he completely impacted the entire shinobi world by bringing them together. His importance in the story to this point is no longer his powers as his time has past, it wouldn't have mattered if he kept Kurama he still was going to be surpassed at some point just as Hashirama and Madara were surpassed by him and Sasuke. It just so happens unlike the two former his time for that happened sooner than later.

He is a beacon of change & unity. That he was always going to be that is evident in the perspective he had throughout despite his journey and this broken shinobi system he was born into.

No matter how remarkable the power ceiling gets they would stand no chance against Shibai... None. He's the very last of his clan to achieve their bottom line goal. Given what was said of his abilities? It would be unstoppable chaos falling upon them no different than a chakra fruit emerging. There would be no hope at all, and what was said was just what was known on top of it all, he very likely was a being dramatically more powerful beyond anyone's imagination. It would be a massacre, no resistance, no counter attack, just a slaughter. His inclusion would make most sense as something other than an enemy. Because otherwise? Yeah.

By the word of editor and author the Manga is continuously evolving beyond the outline prepared before it began.

Shibai Otsutsuki wouldn't be mentioned for reference alone we could possibly be getting an inverted form of the Sage of Six Paths in that rather than being an ally he is a threat or something in the middle of all that and maybe through his possession of the Jougan Boruto can have an audience with him? Who knows?

??? Obito and Pain "cowered in fear" what are you talking about? Obito was wary of him but did not fear him and while Pain may have been wary of him as well he never feared anyone while under his Pain identity... The only person who defeated Obito 1 to 1 was Minato while Pain never lost a battle until he faced Naruto.

How do you dismiss what has thus far been said about it and by Amado who did know enough about it to attempt to resurrect his daughter... From the jump its been clear amado knows more than he let's on. "Like even Amado said it in part one there's ALOT we don't know about karma" yes but amado has held his cards to the chest as we've seen a few times now, is it so completely out of the bounds of reason there's more to what he knows? This article baffles, whether Karma excites anyone or not is irrelevant at this time as its benefits function and central purpose are incredibly simple. The thing here in the manga that is very mysterious is, while considering Karma's function and purpose lore-wise, why does the Karma of boruto and kawaki resonate? If its most important part is to facilitate otsutsuki resurrection what does this resonance mean? And where will it take these two? Something that has not been explored at all in the first series and not yet the second, which frankly speaking is a GOOD thing as that means it will have a mysterious part to play down the road in possibly pushing the narrative forward in whatever scale that may be, Ikemoto has something cooking in mind. The subject of karma hasn't been touched upon too much beyond what boruto's predicament is and that is where the more immediate focus will be once it takes center stage again through boruto's point of view we'll learn and understand more in maybe more than just a few ways, add momshiki to the mix of events surrounding that time and things get all the more mysterious. Mystery generates interest which in turn may well cause excitement.
