See AllCall of Duty Player Gets 67-Year Ban
As someone stated already, they didn't claim that the player was banned because they said things NPC's said in the game. They just speculated that could be a possibility. The player hasn't divulged what they said exactly, which tells me they said some very bad stuff. Bullying, discrimination(which both happen consistently in CoD lobbies, and in GTA lobbies as well) and harassment are in the terms of service. We all agreed to these terms of service so I don't see the point in being upset. It isn't censorship either, the rules are in place to create a safe, and fun environment. A little trash talk isn't bad and they expect that from players. What they don't expect are players to degrade each other and use racial slurs, threats, and even any form of bullying and harassment with each other. Expecting us to be decent human beings that respect each other isn't censorship. Disagreeing with that shows a persons true colors and the type of person they really are inside. Now as for people ganging up to ban a player, which does in fact happen, if you are playing on a console that screen records then you can contact support and dispute the claim and show proof. Even PC players are screen recording, so it shouldn't be hard to dispute. If you get banned at all and you truly did nothing, and know your last match was with a group of players harassing you, then it's easy to put two and two together. More than likely you were reported by the same group of players and it was a false report. It has happened to me in one game, I myself play on PS5, (I have a PC and Xbox, but most of my friends don't) so it always screen records. I just have to open the recordings menu and select the length of the clip I want to save. I was mass reported by players that were harassing me and using racial slurs towards me. I emailed the video clip to the support team, and everyone of those players were perma banned. So that is a resolution to that problem. Malicious false reports are disputable.
