See AllStarfield’s Quiet Death Makes Me Even More Worried for The Elder Scrolls 6
I think the article was written without scope and what APPEARS to be fanboi pain.
It is written by someone displeased that Starfield is not MORE and now has very little chance of being more.
Starfield was slapshot addressed with a, to stick with parlance, shoddy approach to extended gaming with a GOAL..or an apparent PUSH towards expansions and paid content.
The concern that ES6 will suffer a similar fate ignores the blatant truth that ES has DECADES of lore and if you screw that up, tens of thousands will be stormign the gate and Bethesda knows that, in and of itself, will hammer their sales and future viability with the franchise...where as Starfield was a dipping into a different swimming pool and was.. Built like it was an older game, and to be BLUNT, less interesting than Noman's Sky, which is laughable.
Bethesda is LIMITED in what it can add with the new game as THEY built their sandbox back in the 90s for ELder Scrolls. To expand would take MASSIVE amounts of lore, bordering on an Elder Scroll Historian/fan fanatic, to help maintain continuity:)
So the amount of EFFORT to make a BAD game would be as large as is required to make the game we expect, so again, there is no comparison, just hurt feelings.
