Honestly with you saying it's the least used i can see that but I also see the opposite people constantly almos5 every operation i start i see atleast one or two people using a jetpack at some point during the 3 missions in the operation im usually always using the jetpack as i like being able to get close to enemies to torch them with flamethrower or attack them with the stun lance and still be able to jump out of danger when I start taking direct hits its a major survival tool for close combat especially against the terminids as almost all of them use rush tactics with melee units and being able to jump forward or sideways to dodge a charger or any other melee attack is a game changer I agree with you on the hover perk I'd love that but it would severely break terminid missions if you can hover because then you can hover just out of their reach honestly I love the cool down idea shortening it would make things so much better but one thing you don't realize they increased the jump distance on the jetpack when holding your movement control stick forward or key on your keyboard if you release it and stand still you can still get that good jump height you originally had that walking forward and using the pack converts to forward thrust instead of upwards like it used too meaning its still great for climbing but yes it would be even better if they made the stationary jump height higher and players that understand this usually use it quite often paired with the quasar cannon or anti material rifle i usually bring the jetpack and anti material rifle as it can kill any enemy even factory striders if you target the weakpoints and they have so many that the medium armor ones are only exposed after destroying its bottom miniguns and cannons it has vents on its back and sides aswell as on the leg joints the medium armor vents are on its sides and back there are four that move in and out to vent heat once destroyed the vents on the legs and the top of its back will take over
