See AllAfter 6 Hours, Dragon Age: The Veilguard is a Definite GOTY Contender [Hands-on Preview]
You might not be wrong, but your opinion could be very biased based on your connection with the industry and possibly the studio. From my own personal experience playing games, I feel that while this is a very polished game but it is a very poor and lacklustre title.
Diversity and inclusion are no longer natural and very much forced into every aspect. This would be absolutely fine if you kept elements in the game that held all that together. The overall look takes away from the “end of world doom and gloom” feel that previous titles had. No controllable characters and very unattractive/soulless companions. Yes, the same things have been voiced out by haters but as a gay gamer, I am not hating on other groups playing this game. I think that this game lacks a lot and a shame on all journalists that won’t give more balanced views on the game and call out the bad instead of just being super positive and trying to get more to buy it. Unless you just love everything about the game and that says more about the standard you require from a product than anything else, nothing wrong with that either.
