I read somewhere that the reason the Peacock series was cancelled was because Sam Esmail and other creatives didn't have a concrete idea of what the series would be about. Is it really that hard? BSG has a lot of story to tell: the exodus from Kobol, the journey of the Thirteenth Tribe, Cylon Earth, the wars between colonies, the First Cylon War, the Earth of the future. They could even do a formula of one series per planet. We already had Caprica, it could be a series or miniseries of Tauron, Gemenon, Sagittaron, etc. The history of Galactica is just a blip in all that came before, thousands of years of history from Kobol to the 12 Colonies to Cylon Earth.
