It would help, marginally. The vaulted content isn't Bungie's problem. It's their constant nerfs, poor quality control, lack of vision for new content, and being more concerned about their store when there's a bug while leaving major ones in game for months on end. Either commit the resources needed to keep the game alive and fun, or shut it down.
