FF8 junction system might be good for veteran. I actually like it as I play it multiple time with a lot of set rules but I am 100% fully against newcomer who want to get to know about FF series. This is mainly because, FF8 is less of a grind but more strategic. For someone who just started FF, itts better to start with 1, 4, 5, 7 or 9. After that, you can simply play any FF that you like. This is mainly because unlike the others, these games is easier to learn about the system. I am against 6 because of the numbers of party members, 8 for the junction system and 10 for the expert sphere grid and its overall degree of freedom. Its better for new player to have a basic learning on stats importance via auto stat increment when level up before jumping to games that has selective learning curve on what stat or skill to pick when playing through the game.

There is no auch thinga as originallity anymore. As long as they have a lot of tweeks and coloured differently, it can be seen as a new things altogether. Because of Gamefreak want to fo for originality, aome pome.on become much more less sense to even be existed. Kelfki and Vanilluxe are some of them.
