What is collectable about a digital key code for a game?? Absolutely nothing. For that price they should include a physical copy of the game for whatever platform you choose or hell even locked USB thumbs drives are a thing! Easy pass, although I understand at this point you aren't really paying for the game, its damn near free these days for only a few dollars when it's on sale.

I think they should be anyway. I wouldn't mind if this generation lasted until 2030. I love hardware don't get me wrong but It's only this generation with the PS5 that I feel like it has just started and hasn't really hit its climax.

Gen AI is a tool, like calculators and Google. It will never replace people successfully and these companies are constantly looking for new tools to help their jobs along. It is AI hysteria and people need to calm down. Let them cook, and do what you do best and consume. Lot of back seat drivers out here. Let the developers develop and leave them be.

Everyone needs to chill out. Their company, their rules. They do what they need to do to speed up development. Everything's going to be A-OK. These companies are trying to find better ways to be sustainable, let them go through the process of finding these ways and stop ganging up on them every chance you get.

This makes a lot of sense. The PlayStation has always been the go to for big graphic intensive Blockbusters It looks like they are taking a page out of Nintendo's playbook. Sounds like they are gearing up for less powerful hardware in the future

I'm not usually this cynical but I hope this turns out to be a terrible decision for them and they go bankrupt. That's what it's going to take to keep these companies from abandoning all consumer needs. The only hope I have is that there is some kind of technological advancement that comes out of this and we end up getting motherboards that support the same RAM that they need in data centers but I don't see that happening.

There's always 3 sides to these stories. Just remember that. I'm sure every party involved is part of some wrong doing. People are leaking things from Rockstar. Like wise developers are probably trying to unionize. There's always the third side, the actual truth, that no one will offer up.

Have they actually out it is because of tariffs? I don't think they have this is kind of like bad news reporting you are assuming something and putting it as fact. For all we know Microsoft has a deal with the US government and that's not unlikely at all. I think Xbox just passed the point of selling consoles for cheaper to gain on games. They want to gain from everything.

XBC2 is the game thats most needed a definitive edition the day it came out lol. I love the game and I hope this is true! If the order they have been releasing definitive editions is anything to go by, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is next in-line!

Hopefully Sony has some kind of middle-man type of money holding they do when someone buys one of their games and Sony can stop the money from making it to the scammers account.

The only reason video games are priced so high (compared to movies, that often times have bigger budgets!!!) Is because they reach a smaller amount of people compared to movies. But with popularity only going up with each game technically the prices should be falling but Nintendo is doing the opposite instead capitalizing on the most popular series by raising prices. It's just flat out "we want more money" and it's nothing else.

I just don't understand how everything has gotten so backwards! The PS5 pro doesn't come with a disc drive??? A collectors edition doesnt come with a physical game??? What??? BIt's literally in the title a collectable is something tangible.
