Meh...the cheesy tone was great when I was a child..but as an adult now I want something more relatable to adulthood. Don't see how they will relate to the older fans without the darker tone. The movie was awesome...just didn't have the fights and action like the TV series did. The heavy metal fight music was missing..and they should have just went Rated R with it. Was hoping for a part 2 even.

No.they messing up..needs to be darker. There are not that many kids as compared to when I was a kid. Most Millennials of my age don't even have kids. Yes it was originally brought to the USA and changed to a kids show. Ported from Super Sentai. However things change. What was regarded as what it meant to be a child is no longer relatable now. Needs to be a mixture of Cobra Kai and The Originals teenage series..or Archie Netflix series...a bit more serious.but has the cheese of Cobra Kai. That will relate to everyone.
