So, we know Maleficent is character 1 for the 2nd half of the DLC. Aurora is more than likely character 2 since she is heavily mentioned. I'm assuming/hoping the Wonderland-eque area means that Alice will also show up when the 2nd half drops.

100%. People wanted so much when they heard FF7 remake, personally I would have been fine with a 1-to-1 remake or smaller scale. When they mentioned 3 games each the size of FFXIII, I was wondering why.

Not everything needs to be open, and a sequel doing well with it doesn't mean the original didn't "age well." One of Arkham Asylum's biggest strengths is that its somewhat linear nature emphasized the danger that we were supposed to feel about being trapped with all of these super criminals that wanted to kill you.

The feeling was perfect for the story it was telling, just as the more open settings were brilliant for the stories that the sequels were telling. It's okay to have a game with tighter areas if that's what the story is calling for...and even then, the Asylum DOES open up to allow backtracking and exploring to find Riddler trophies and secrets....it's not like it's 100% closed linear style for the entire game.

Reasons like this are why I just buy the games on sales and stick to PS Plus Essentials. Sony keeps making such baffling moves to remove entire franchises from the Plus catalogue out of nowhere, to where it feels like you have to power through games just in case that game gets removed next.

I'd rather just buy the games on a sale and play them at my own leisure. This goes for Xbox as well...I purely stick to Gamepass Core for the exact same reason.

Popping in to say that it still hasn't been updated since this article was created. Just went to redeem my points, and the wallet funds option is still completely gone.

Sony just keeps throwing out more reasons to not support them these days...and I say this as someone who has loved their consoles since the launch of the PS1. <_<

Both songs are great imo, for me it's the clear difference in the actual intro that accompanies. The original feels like it's introducing a show, which the point of the game was to be an interactive show/movie experience...so that kind of intro was perfect.

The new intro just feels a bit uninspired and hammers in what the original tossed out subtly without having to use character clips.
