Quite a good article laying down the situation.

TLDR: I would much roter see many core elements be implemented before an kind of DLC, Expansion or MP is worked on. In its or it feels like half a game at time.:(

I have played the original trilogy and this together with the large and diverse moding community creates certain expectations.

Most people are aware of the large number of challenges that the team went through during the development! Knowing this it’s amazing that the game sour and with the quality it has.

As this article says the features or rather core element that most people are probably missing is a fully functional A-life this also includes larger span distances for NPC, their (combat) behavior (faction wars and your choices influencing the outcome) and wild life tactics.

Other core elements that I am missing from the game that I came to expect from the trilogy are:

1 binoculars

2 NFG and Scopes

3 Ability to low crouch like in OG or prone

4 the list is larger but also get less important.

In short there is a large SO storyline but big pays f the core frame work are missing which take away from the experience especially when free roaming what to me and may played the game is about for a large part.

Its amazing we have the game now and a few on point acknowledgements from the developers on mention core elements and their priority would go a long way to keep people on board!!
