Honestly, there should have been no reason that Yoshi-P needed to apologize in the first place. If people hadn't acted like complete rage filled children, none of this would have taken place. It's digusting to see and realize just what people in this world are becoming. Seriously, were all the harassing and threatening personal attacks really needed or worth it? Does it make people feel big and bad, because they threatened someone that's not like them? And not just for a performance, but due to their gender identity? Oh, those haters are so tough, safely hiding behind their computer and phone screens, and making serious threats against a V.A. Who was just doing her job. Yes, if you're going to say "u mad? U salty lul!" Yeah. Yeah I am. Because of how utterly immature and idiotic people acted over her.
Honestly, I'm usually all about collecting hairstyles, in a need to have them all (yes even the weird looking ones) but these don't really peak my interest that much.
As for the mount, I'd love to have it, as it cracks me up to see. However, the $24 price tag is a little inhibiting for me, causing debate to whether or not I wish to part with that money... I guess time will tell, though I may give in before too long... I'm weak for mounts like this!
Sadly, I can't think of too many open-world games that really excite or make me want to spend my time on them anymore. Most become either toxic with egotistically rude players ("i don't care what i say or do, it's free so stfu" yeah, those types) or children that probably shouldn't be on half the games they are. If I do meet others, they often don't speak. So..
Can't tell you *my* favorite house in FFXIV, because I've never been able to obtain a home. Either I'm not lucky enough to get chosen in the lottery, or if I find one with a low number of people, they wait until the last instant, and then an influx of people throw their bids in, causing chances to rise massively.
At this point, my little FC I'm in, has well over the 100+ million mark, just trying to get an FC house.
The fact that players are being this upset over gear appearance, when you can literally make it appear however you want, is incredibly amusing and petty. People are acting like this is maliciously being done, to spite them in some manner. Clearly not the case, but it seems the fan base is becoming more and more sensitive and downright demanding to have things their way. This isn't Burger King, folks.
And threatening to unsubscribe is just major tantrum throwing at its' worst. Children do this... "I'm going to hold my breath until I get what I want. I won't play with my toys until I get one that looks like theirs!" Seriously, people. Is that what this FORMERLY great community has degraded into? Sadly, it seems so... If you're one of those threatening to unsub, just because of some gear appearance, if it's so "offensive", then maybe you shouldn't be playing. Clearly people can't get over things, that was WAY before their time.
Guessing these same players were also offended by the heavily inspired religious theme of Heavensward as well, or the direct theme of Stormblood's Japanese aspects?
Think it over people... It's a game, not a slander-fest.
