No, people are missing the point. Harry retires and works with Renee Ballard. The books reflect that and with spin off series for Renee it's quite right for Bosch Legacy to end. Follow the books which are brilliant. Renee is the 'lead character' helped by Bosvh and Maddie. Makes sense to me as a life long fan.
