Good article. Seems like people didn’t even read it, covered their eyes and ears and jumped straight to the comments to give their two cents about their idolization of Eric Barone. I appreciate you accurately covering the extent of the former dev’s involvement and why that classification is justified. 👍
Jane Respectfully, omitting the “former” part, ignoring the significant contributions made, the fact the CA was/is fully aware of the project, not to mention the game is rebuilt entirely from the ground up, and choosing to be upset about it sounds like a personal issue. You act like there aren’t hundreds of Stardew copycats “hoping to profit off Stardew” and choose to take offense here from the one variant that actually has ties to the original game. Again, a personal issue.
