What is this developer smoking? We love long games, we just want good content in them...Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 3, and fallout 4 had great content that defined an era for Bethesda and the industry as a whole. The player count for games like Skyrim and Fallout 4 prove that gamers love long games... Starfield had none of the things that made those others great. Starfield was mediocre in every category possible, a half baked game that never excelled in any one of its features/gameplay. The story lacked a reason to get invested, the main quests were just fetch quests that were identical and uneventful. The writing was done by a five year old. The game kept reminding us of the awesome war of mechs and aliens that we could have been apart of but instead we join the story in a period of peace "after" those awesome events....Its like playing WW2 Call of Duty game but its set after the war. This developer joins the list of developers losing touch and blaming the wrong things instead of themselves.
