See AllStarfield Following One Fallout: New Vegas DLC's Lead With its Next Expansion Would Be a Knockout
"Starfield's NASA-punk setting is grounded in hard science" not sure what grounded science they used because there is a lot more variation than they show. Just in our solar system alone there is more variation on worlds than in the entirety of Starfield.
'Nasa-punk' the f does that even mean? Is that what Starfield is using to describe itself to try and differentiate itself from the rest of the space sci-fi genre so it doesn't have to compete with the mountain of better games with lower budgets?
The issue with Starfield still remains and it isn't being addressed, and it's the world building. They lied about it, and delivered a garbage model. Until they decide to make legitimate worlds with actual POIs that can be traveled to, the game will continue to disappoint. The impossibly garbage flight model also doesn't help anything. They promised "if you see that mountain in the distance, you can travel to it. And it will be true for every world." That was a huge lie, and that is what makes the exploration so bad. Elite Dangerous' planets that players can land on are all the same. Barren, lifeless, exact same color palette for every single one. Yet they are more fun to explore than Starfield planets, because in those planets I CAN walk up to the mountain in the distance.
Tencent Now Has a Majority Stake in the Wuthering Waves Studio
This is great news for Kuro.
We saw what Riot and Digital Extremes were capable of doing once tencent showed up to bankroll them. I see a very bright future for Wuthering Waves.
Tencent Now Has a Majority Stake in the Wuthering Waves Studio
Why? Tencent has bought 3 other studios out right and nothing but good things happened for them thanks to it.
Riot would not be where it is today if Tencent hadnt bought them. Neither would Digital Extremes
Tencent Now Has a Majority Stake in the Wuthering Waves Studio
Tencent owns 8 different studios that have been affected in absolutely no way by its ownership. In fact a number of studios have managed to pump out content faster and with less financial worry thanks to Tencent bankrolling them.
Tencent has given them the same deal they gave Riot, Digital Extremes, and many more. This is great news for Kuro as they can purely focus on development.
Star Citizen Developer Hit With More Layoffs
Ah yes, another "I would play but" person. I am legitimately curious, what do you get out of lying about a game that you clearly have no interest in?
Star Citizen Developer Hit With More Layoffs
They have let people go in the past most commonly for performance issues. Insider Gamers source who "outed" that the people didn't get thank yous or severance already has their own thread in Spectrum where their development lead put them on blast for constantly missing deadlines, and poor work ethic.
