Sounds a little bit like trying to piggyback off of other people's hard work? The obvious solution is to rank up like everyone else did with the time they put in. I was disappointed when they introduced the "One Wasteland" update years ago because before you had legitimate reasons to rank up and find better weapons and armor, not to mention a true fear of dying if you tried to enter the Cranberry Bog too early on in the game. The game changed immensely after they started coddling all the "nooblets".
