Well, I don't know if Beat Saber is what i would call an immersive game. I never really felt like I was going to be smacked in the face by one of those blocks! But it is certainly a good game.

For immersion though:

Alien rogue incursion, is really faithful to the feel of the Aliens film.

Resident evil Village (psvr2)

GT7 (psvr2) racing and attention to small details. I did a short youtube series of "VR or real car" and interspersed real car footage with the in game car model. The game models are surprisingly close and ever nearer to photo realism.

Madison (psvr2) for genuine scares

Elite dangerous (PC) i literally lived in my spaceship for about a year. You need a HOTAS though!

Half life alyx, yes certainly

Assetto corsa (PC with a wheel and motion rig)

Eleven table tennis (quest) should be there, it's a genuine sports game that feels exactly right & where there is a real chance that you will accidentally try to lean on the table that isn't there!
