Halo infinite's campaign introduced 2 new races, the Skimmers and the Endless. The Endless probably isn't their actual name, but they are said to be potentially as dangerous, if not more so, than the flood. Infinite's multiplayer is Free to Play and a grand majority of the armor in the game are completely new models that were made by 343, now Halo Studios. Banished and other Rebel Spartans have been in the lore prior to Infinite's release and it's currently only speculation that they'll pay a major role in the future. Also Prometheans were created by 343 for Halo 4, prior to that, combat specialized humanoid frames hadn't been seen from the forerunners
