There is a game they are not shutting down but hackers maybe will.  Over 600 users have been locked out at the moment of their NBALM accounts for 8 days due to hackers. Some of these players have spent hundreds or even thousands of dollars over the years on their accounts. So far, EA hasn’t taken any action. This issue has been happening since mid-2024, but the number of affected accounts has skyrocketed since the new season started in December.
