Black Myth: Wukong Review
Part2:
3. I don't think it's hard for them to get a map on the interface but I have a feeling this is on purpose so the game is indirectly getting hard. (Bloodborne doesn't have map and it's my favorite) But the main story line should just have one path down I guess? Not sure about the level design but I feel fine with it. Again if u play some more side quests u might find the leveling system is better?
I always thought all review site with give a result based on average (like metacritic) never knew one man opinion could represent the whole site. I normally only check on metacritic so never knew that. Well the game designer didn't come easy today - 4-5 years ago they r just a 7 ppl team and now they pulled this off tbh I think its a miracle. It's not easy for them they just build this from scrap.
Black Myth: Wukong Review
Normally I wouldn't care those reviews as they won't affect the way I play the games u only get to know the games when you play it. But I did found some interesting points after reading your review and you comments:
1 I play this game for a whole day I find the game design is ok u have plenty of ways to work out your fight and reset the talent would give u a completely different fighting style. U said some of the boss r 'agonizingly hard' - is it possible that u didn't find a better approach? I feel like some bosses r a bit challenging but hard to believe if any is really that painfully hard. Well I havent finished the game yet so probably I'm not in the best position to say this. But in the comment section u keep bragging (even in your greatest achievement) u have got most of the soul game achievements - which brings the question - did u try a different approach or u just brainlessly to try the beat the boss in one style? (Respect Im a hardcore soul fan but in soul game we try different approach in game right? And honestly I feel like wukong is not as hard as soul game. But again I havent finished the game so who knows)
2 I played whole day once its out and I'm only down to chapter 2. There are so many stories and bosses to explore. I know they r side stories and optional bosses but they r part of this games culture and they r part of the storied in 'Journey to the West'. U just went through without checking on them - story is funny and the boss fights r different as well. I'm pretty sure u finished all the side stories in souls games? And here u would just say its optional and boring let's skip it~ man do u even know what's Journey to the West?.. Seriously pick some stories in it to read. Their picked up most of the references in the story and the art work is just amazing. Try to learn the culture before you judge.
